Last night, Tuesday, we held our Saturday wine night which was supposed to have happened Monday night but the wine was not chilled long enough. That opening sentence should give you an idea of how much wine was consumed last night.
This weekly thing is inspired by one of the last holidays we took before the virus. Our host would have bottles chilled and different kinds of cheese sliced and chips ready that by the time we got home every night, the show starts: we sing old community songs while the host plays his guitar, exchange old stories. The same old stories were told every night. Who cares, we were all drunk anyway.
Same happens during our Satuesday or Winesday nights. We recall good ol’ vacay times and plan out the next. But since we’re all UI’d, it didn’t matter if we all agreed to go to the moon or scale Mauna Kea. For security, I switch off the IP cam.
Fam time. Important to us. Even if no one remembers. Cheers!
