We made it thru college engineering solving endless complex problems such as this one thrown at us everyday -for fun and refreshment! It was a normal occurrence for someone in our study group to drop a paper on the table with a physics or math problem for the rest of us to solve. It’s like placing a worm in a swarm of birds. We thrived on solving intricacies. We were nerds and geeks hungry for mental exercises.
Funny thing is, I’ve worked in power plant design as an electrical engineer and later in lighting design which has been my trade since the advent of CFL and never have I encountered such predicaments at work until I homeschooled my children. But it did help me develop analytical thinking esp in solving difficult laundry stain problems and in maneuvering naughty traffic jams.
Life prepares you for the future even if you can’t make sense or a cent out of it in the present. For now, do what we did -have fun finding x.
Cheers to analysis!

Ramon Monteclaro Sawit this post is inspired by your comment in my New Beginnings reflections last Feb1. Thank you. Am sure this will help you recall our adventures in the library or in the study hall in front of the canteen.
